Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator (Azure Cloud) on behalf of our client in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, TX. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced infrastructure professional with strong expertise in Windows Server administration and Azure Cloud technologies. The role involves supporting enterprise-level environments, maintaining system stability and security, and contributing to cloud and infrastructure modernization initiatives within a collaborative technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and support enterprise Windows Server infrastructure
- Perform Windows Server installations, upgrades, patching, and system maintenance
- Manage and support Azure Cloud environments including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Azure Virtual Machines
- Administer Active Directory, Entra ID, and Group Policy configurations
- Implement and maintain AppLocker policies and enterprise security standards
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve system-related incidents
- Support server builds, migrations, upgrades, and enterprise application deployments
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell
- Monitor system performance, backups, and operational health across environments
- Assist with onboarding and integration of new infrastructure technologies and applications
- Participate in on-call or 24/7 support activities when required
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Windows Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server administration in enterprise environments
- Experience supporting Azure Cloud services including AVD, Azure VMs, and Microsoft 365 technologies
- Strong expertise in:
- Windows Server Administration
- Active Directory / Entra ID
- Group Policy
- PowerShell scripting
- Experience with server builds, migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure support
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and end-user support abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft System Center tools such as SCCM and SCOM
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender Endpoint
- Azure Fundamentals or related Microsoft certifications
- Experience supporting enterprise or financial services environments
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
