Vice President, Infrastructure Investing
Arco Talent Group is conducting a search on behalf of a leading infrastructure investing platform. The client is a well-capitalized fund operating across energy, power, digital infrastructure, and core infrastructure assets in North America and globally.
This Vice President role sits at the heart of the deal team and offers a direct line to senior leadership, meaningful carry participation, and the opportunity to originate and execute on some of the most consequential infrastructure transactions in the market today. The client values individuals who bring both rigorous analytical depth and genuine commercial instinct.
What you will do
- Lead end-to-end deal execution across origination, underwriting, due diligence, and closing for infrastructure and energy investments
- Drive financial modelling, valuation, and investment memo preparation for new acquisitions and portfolio reviews
- Manage relationships with investment banks, advisors, co-investors, and strategic partners across the transaction lifecycle
- Contribute to portfolio company value creation initiatives, including capital structuring, add-on acquisitions, and exit strategy
- Mentor and develop more junior investment professionals on the deal team
- Engage directly with senior leadership on platform strategy and sector positioning
What we are looking for
- 5–8 years of experience across infrastructure or energy private equity, infrastructure-focused investment banking, or a combination of both
- Direct transaction experience in one or more of: power generation, renewables, midstream, digital infrastructure, or regulated utilities
- Exceptional financial modelling skills with experience on complex, capital-intensive infrastructure assets
- Background sourced from a bulge bracket or elite boutique infrastructure / energy / power group, or a top-tier infrastructure or energy PE platform
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships across counterparties and internal stakeholders alike
- An undergraduate degree from a leading institution; MBA or CFA is a plus but not required
