Job description
An intermediate-level professional, theProject Coordinatoris a fully qualified individual producer who applies a broad knowledge of functional analyses, practices, and procedures. The Project Coordinator is competent to work on complex assignments (and/or portions of larger, complex projects). The Project Coordinator should have experience implementing complex Human Resources (HR) solutions.
This position provides in-depth functional and technical analyses in support of project scope and objectives. It applies analytical skills to support process improvement, studies, and projects regarding but not limited to local, state, and federal government reporting.
This position generally works under tight deadlines and is capable of handling heavy workloads, operating with only general supervision. It may provide occasional HR functional guidance to less experienced staff. Errors at this level can cause delay, expense, and/or disruption.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Specific to Human Resource functions: Performs analysis, planning, establishment of requirements, functional modeling, development of procedures, and other related management and technical duties.
- Interfaces with other departments while representing the agency in the course of collecting, analyzing, compiling, and presenting data from multiple sources for use in creating agency, local, state, and federal reports.
- Analyzes user needs to determine HR departmental and inter-departmental requirements.
- Analyzes, conceptualizes, and defines problems and formulates solutions.
- Prepares reports to management defining problems, evaluations, and possible solutions.
- Converts analysis data into presentation format for internal and external use.
- Works to document existing business processes and/or changes to those processes.
- Operates independently and reacts rapidly in a complex organizational environment with daily customer interchange and multi-faceted tasking while providing insights and independent thought and advice on interoperability areas.
- Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge, compiles information into recommendations/analyses, and participates in presentations where application requires technical expertise.
- May conduct research for or write portions of technical proposals.
- Schedule initial/follow-up stakeholder interviews to understand/document requirements and assess change readiness
- Participate in all on-site milestone work (i.e., targeted workshops, other meetings) and assist in documenting requirements, change-related challenges, and issues, etc.
- Create/update Project Status reporting tools
- Ongoing management of issues and risk log
- Take detailed notes during workshops, stakeholder interviews and document requirements
- Create & disseminate project-related communications and updates
Special Requirements
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be an effective communicator with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Astute attention to detail is a must.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required. (Excel – Word – PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Human Resource government procedures
- Human Resource experience is mandatory.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
