About Fenco Solutions
Fenco Solutions is seeking a General Manager to lead our Kentucky manufacturing operation, consisting of two plants and approximately 150 employees. This role serves as the on-site business leader across all functions, responsible for driving both operational performance and commercial success. The General Manager will lead manufacturing and supply chain while also owning key customer relationships and supporting business growth tied to the Kentucky operation.
Role Overview
The General Manager is accountable for the overall performance of the Kentucky operation, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and site-level financial performance. This role requires balancing strong operational execution with active involvement in customer relationships and business growth.
The General Manager will lead and align manufacturing, supply chain, and support functions while working directly with customers and commercial teams to ensure commitments are realistic, execution is reliable, and opportunities for growth are captured.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who has operated a manufacturing site or business unit and is comfortable leading both the operational and commercial aspects of a business. This role requires a leader who is comfortable operating in a developing environment where systems, processes, and teams are still being strengthened.
Key Responsibilities
- Own overall performance of the Kentucky operation, including safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Operates with a strong ownership mindset for site performance, while partnering closely with company leadership on key decisions
- Make day-to-day decisions on priorities, trade-offs, and resource allocation
- Ensure production plans are realistic and executable, removing bottlenecks quickly to maintain flow
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor to stay connected to operations
- Lead, coach, and develop team members across manufacturing and supply chain
- Drive accountability and a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
- Own and support key customer relationships tied to the Kentucky operation, including visits, audits, and ongoing engagement to drive revenue and ensure execution
- Drive cost control, efficiency, and margin improvement at the site level
- Partner with Finance to understand performance drivers and support decision-making
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Lead problem-solving efforts and ensure root causes are addressed
- Collaborate with Engineering on process and manufacturing improvements
- Align site priorities with broader company objectives

- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
- Experience with lean or continuous improvement methodologies
