Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Intermodal Dispatcher based in Dallas, TX. The Lead Intermodal Dispatcher will oversee and optimize daily operations, manage driver schedules, coordinate intermodal drayage activities, and actively resolve logistical challenges to ensure on-time delivery. The individual will collaborate closely with drivers, customers, and terminal staff, ensuring communication and operational efficiency. In addition, the role involves monitoring compliance with company policies, enhancing workflow processes, and maintaining a customer-centric focus.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics, transportation, and intermodal drayage operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with drivers, customers, and teams
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Technical proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other relevant logistics software
- Leadership and team management experience, with a focus on operational efficiency and collaboration
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Dallas, TX
