Your Role: Carpenter
As a Skilled Carpenter, you’ll be part of a skilled crew that brings custom residential and light commercial projects to life. From rough framing to fine finish work, you’ll work closely with Lead Carpenters and Site Supervisors to deliver top-tier craftsmanship while developing your skills and contributing to a strong team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Craftsmanship & Execution
- Perform framing, siding, trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry with accuracy
- Read and interpret plans, measurements, and drawings
- Maintain high standards of quality and jobsite cleanliness
Teamwork & Coordination
- Support Lead Carpenters in daily operations and task execution
- Communicate clearly with crew members and supervisors
- Participate in jobsite setup, breakdown, and material handling
Growth & Professionalism
- Take initiative and ownership of your work
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Contribute to a respectful and productive jobsite culture
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of carpentry experience (framing or finish)
- Familiarity with construction drawings, tools, and jobsite practices
- Dependable work ethic and strong attention to detail
- Ability to take direction, work hard, and collaborate well with others
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Bar Harbor area
- A commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and continual growth
- Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment physical and drug screening
