Title: Quality Engineer

Responsibilities
- Be the main point of contact between Program Management, Design Teams, Test Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing and Risk Management for hardware development, sustaining engineering, and failure analysis.
- Perform complex and multi-faceted failure and root cause analysis as part of the Non-Conformance and CAPA process in a high-paced environment.
- Participate in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and guide teams to create quality documents including Quality Plans, PFMEA, Inspection Reports, and other quality documentation.
- Develop Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) requirements and setting metrics for performance analysis.
- Support the setting up of procedures, instructions, and processes to align with international standards for Quality Systems such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
Requirements
- BS in mechanical or electrical engineering required (MS preferred).
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in design or manufacturing quality.
- Strong technical and analytical acumen with experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred automotive, semiconductor, or medical devices).
- Thorough knowledge of QMS and quality control fundamentals.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment and strong communication skills.
