Vice President, Technology & Digital Platforms

We are partnering with a nationally distributed organization undergoing significant operational and digital evolution to identify an executive leader to head its technology, cybersecurity, and data platforms. This role is a critical member of the senior leadership team and will play a central role in enabling growth, protecting the enterprise, and modernizing technology capabilities across a large, field-based operating footprint.
This leader will inherit a multi-year transformation already in motion and will be responsible for completing, stabilizing, and extending that work while positioning the organization for long-term scalability, resilience, and AI-enabled productivity.
Location: Midwest-based or willing to relocate (Central Time Zone)
Role Scope
The VP, Technology & Digital Platforms, leads all enterprise technology functions, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, applications, and digital enablement. The role partners closely with executive leadership and governance bodies and serves as a strategic advisor on risk, investment prioritization, and technology-enabled growth.
This position oversees technology operations supporting hundreds of distributed operating locations and mission-critical, always-on environments.
Key Mandates
This executive will be accountable for:
- Setting and executing a multi-year enterprise technology roadmap aligned to aggressive growth and operational performance objectives
- Stabilizing and optimizing a complex, nationwide technology environment spanning regional operational locations, warehouses, and corporate locations
- Establishing resilient, standardized, and scalable connectivity models to support a geographically dispersed operating environment
- Owning enterprise security strategy with an emphasis on identity governance, threat detection, response readiness, and enterprise risk oversight
- Developing advanced data and insight capabilities that elevate operational effectiveness, financial performance, and leadership decision‑making
- Enabling next‑generation field technology through mobile solutions, hardened infrastructure, modern device ecosystems, and location‑enabled systems
- Expanding intelligent automation, AI‑enabled tools, and digital productivity platforms to drive workforce efficiency and enterprise modernization
- Serving as a strategic partner to senior leadership to ensure technology investments directly support operational and financial objectives
- Creating a strong culture of accountability, execution, and leadership development within the technology organization
- Delivering dependable, secure, and scalable technology services that underpin mission‑critical business operations
Ideal Experience
Successful candidates will typically bring:
- 15+ years in a sustained career in senior technology leadership with accountability for enterprise-scale platforms, teams, and outcomes
- Repeated success driving complex technology change initiatives across large, multi-location operating models
- Extensive background overseeing national infrastructure and connectivity environments supporting geographically dispersed operations
- Demonstrated ownership of enterprise security programs spanning identity governance, monitoring and response capabilities, incident readiness, and risk oversight
- A leadership track record aligned with operationally intensive, field-driven, or asset-heavy business environments
- Direct experience implementing intelligent automation, AI-driven solutions, collaboration platforms, and modern data architecture
- Executive-level communication skills with the presence and credibility to engage senior leaders and oversight bodies
- A history of building, developing, and retaining high-caliber technology leaders
