AEC Medical Transport & Rapid Response is a leading private ambulance service specializing in inter-facility transport. We are looking for dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our professional team and help us continue delivering exceptional service.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality patient care and medical transportation in both emergency and non-emergency settings.
- Respond promptly and professionally to calls, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain ambulance equipment according to company protocols and safety regulations.
- Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and transport details.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, dispatchers, and first responders.
- Uphold AEC’s core values in all aspects of the job, ensuring professionalism and ethical conduct.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Graduation From High School or equivalent
- 19 years old or older at time of hire for insurance purposes
- Successful completion of NREMT certification
- Current NREMT and State EMT (or ability to obtain with in 10 days of hire)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive company vehicles with a clean driving record
- Successful completion of a state sponsored EVOC course or ability to obtain in 90 days
- Current AHA BLS CPR or ability to obtain within 10 days of hire
- Ability to provide quality patient care within scope of practice
- Knowledge of all state protocols for an EMT
- Ability to pass a lift test of 150 – 200 pounds
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
