We are seeking a responsible Logistics Supervisor who can ensure the efficient operations of all warehouse support infrastructures, and internal and external logistics. They should be highly organized and able to multitask with ease. This position is critical to guarantee that the warehouses’ infrastructure functions are in good working order for a safe and compliant working environment. This position leads and supports the transportation operations.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of warehouse or maintenance experience
- 3-5 years of transportation logistics experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with office management tools (MS Office software, Scheduling software)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
- Bilingual (English /Spanish) preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all warehouse support / infrastructure services are compliant and functioning properly:
- Supervise providers: trash program, landscaping, contractors for repair, etc.
- Supervise the drinking water delivery program and ensure adequate, on-time delivery.
- Ensure office and bathroom maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs are completed.
- Supervise water pump operations and ensure it is maintained.
- Ensure portable coolers are filled and operating correctly.
- Assist with developing facility management programs for optimization and savings.
- Monitor the fire suppression system and ensure compliance.
- Ensure AC system filters and maintenance are completed as needed.
- Schedule monthly maintenance, complete weekly forklift inspections records.
- Assist with managing the alarm and camera company. Assist with managing door access and key card reader. Supervise the gate operations and ensure routine maintenance is performed.
- Assist with coordination of indoor / outdoor space planning for efficiency.
- Support all warehouse locations.
- Supervise vendors to ensure tools are replaced quickly, and repairs are completed.
- Transportation Logistics:
- Ensure all warehouse support / infrastructure services are compliant and functioning properly
- Schedule transportation for all will call shipments, working with the preferred broker companies
- Track and trace all shipments from manufacturers to ensure on time pick up and on time delivery
- Ensure all tracking sheets for key customers are updated with pricing
- Update all work order files in Blue Folder with transportation information
- Ensure all BOLs are provided to the shipper and uploaded into Blue Folder
- Fleet Maintenance: (box trucks, trailers, small trucks, and vans):
- Weekly vehicle audits: Ensure each vehicle has registration, insurance and fuel cards
- Weekly vehicle damage audit: ensure all damages are reported promptly.
- Review repair approvals, etc
- Ensure routine maintenance is completed.
- Perform vehicle cleanliness audits.
- Scheduling vehicle washes.
- Meet or exceed departmental and company goals and objectives.

- Other duties as assigned.
