Role Description
Warmies® is seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain for a full-time, on-site role located in Chicago, IL. This senior leader will oversee demand planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and overall supply chain operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The VP of Supply Chain will develop and execute strategies to optimize the supply chain, manage vendor relationships, and oversee inventory levels while ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery to retail and direct-to-consumer channels. Additionally, this role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure operations align with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Supply Chain Management, including process optimization and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in Demand Planning and Inventory Management, with a focus on maintaining optimal inventory levels and forecasting accuracy.
- Strong experience in Procurement and Logistics Management, including vendor negotiations and distribution strategies.
- Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive results.
- Proven track record of problem-solving and implementing efficient supply chain operations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Previous experience in a senior supply chain leadership role, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
