Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the launch, migration, and ongoing management of a new technology platform. This role will play a critical part in database architecture, system implementation, data integrity, and performance optimization across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, experience with system implementations, and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage databases supporting core CRM platforms, applications, and reporting systems
· Support the launch and migration to a new CRM platform, including data conversion, validation, and reconciliation
· Collaborate with business and vendor teams during system implementations, upgrades, and integrations
· Design, maintain, and optimize database structures to ensure performance, scalability, security, and availability
· Develop and oversee data migration strategies, ETL processes, and cutover activities
· Monitor database performance and proactively troubleshoot issues
· Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
· Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
· Support production environments and provide escalation support for database-related incidents
· Document technical processes, system configurations, and operational procedures
· Enforce best practices around access control, data security, and change management
· Stay current with database technologies, tools, and IT best practices
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
· 7+ years of experience in database administration or database management roles
· Strong experience supporting system implementations and platform migrations
· Solid understanding of relational databases
· General knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications, networking, and cloud-based environments
· Experience with data migration, data validation, and system integration projects
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in the insurance or financial services industry
· Familiarity with core insurance systems (policy administration, billing, claims, or underwriting platforms)
· Experience with cloud databases and modern data platforms
· Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and data governance requirements
· Project-based experience supporting major technology transformations
Key Technical Skills
· .NET Development (C#)
· SQL Proficiency (query writing, stored procedures, performance tuning)
· CRM Experience (Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or equivalent systems)
· Experience using and implementing AI tools

At the ABE, we consider skills, organizational needs, and experience in our compensation approach. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $130,000 - $160,000 and includes full benefits.
