Job Overview
Fredericks Inc is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical projects from conception to completion. We are a medium sized Electrical Contractor in Madison Co, Indiana and primarily work around Central Indiana on Commercial, Institutional, K-12, and Light Industrial projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical project management. This role requires organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Duties

Lead and manage multiple electrical projects.
Develop and maintain project schedules.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other contractors on a project.
Electrical estimating.
Business development.
Labor management.
Purchasing/ Job material buy-outs.
Reviewing job costs and completing WIP reports.
Monitor project efficiency and productivity.
Prepare and review contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Conduct site visits to assess progress, address issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

Experience in electrical project management or construction management.
Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and standards related to electrical installations.
Proficiency in project scheduling tools and software, including Bluebeam for document management.
Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong analytical skills with experience in construction estimating processes.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
