We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping/Logistics/Inventory Administrator to join a detail-focused services team in Sarasota, Florida. This is a Contract to permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic parts department by managing shipping, logistics, inventory, and administrative tasks. The role is 100% onsite, providing a hands-on environment to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders.
• Coordinate logistics for both domestic and international shipments, maintaining compliance with shipping regulations.
• Manage inventory levels, tracking stock movements and ensuring accurate records are maintained.
• Process invoices and billing documentation using QuickBooks and other relevant tools.
• Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain inventory and shipping records in company systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving shipping or inventory issues promptly.
• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel to prepare reports and analyze logistics data for process improvements.
• Collaborate with vendors and shipping carriers to ensure efficient transportation and delivery of goods.
• Handle UPS and other shipping platforms to create labels and manage package tracking.
• Support administrative functions within the parts department to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or inventory management roles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant software tools.
• Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Familiarity with international shipping processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of UPS shipping systems and other logistics platforms.
• Ability to work onsite in Sarasota, Florida, and commit to a contract position.
