Job Title: VP of Technology Operations
Overview
We are seeking a senior technology leader to oversee enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, service delivery, and information security for a complex, regulated organization. This executive will be responsible for driving system reliability, operational excellence, scalability, and risk management across the technology environment.
This leader will work closely with executive stakeholders to shape technology strategy, improve service delivery, strengthen security practices, and support long-term business objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in enterprise infrastructure, IT operations, cybersecurity oversight, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to define and execute enterprise technology strategy
- Lead day-to-day IT operations across support, infrastructure, cloud, and security functions
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise systems and services
- Oversee cybersecurity programs, incident response, risk management, and compliance readiness
- Guide the modernization and continuous improvement of core infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments
- Manage third-party vendors, managed service providers, and strategic technology partners
- Establish and monitor service levels, KPIs, and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Oversee business continuity and disaster recovery planning
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing technical teams
- Promote cross-functional collaboration, accountability, and a strong service culture across the organization
Qualifications
- Significant experience in senior IT leadership within complex enterprise environments
- Strong background in infrastructure, cloud platforms, IT operations, and cybersecurity
- Experience leading multiple technical teams and support functions
- Proven success driving operational improvement and enterprise transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance in regulated environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies is a plus
