Role Overview
The ICT Manager role will report to the ICT Director, is responsible for aligning technology systems and digital infrastructure for CEL which is scaling in Ireland and the US. This role ensures the effective delivery, integration, and continuous improvement of ICT solutions that support all areas of our organisation. The ICT Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to drive system optimisation, data visibility, and process automation, while maintaining robust cybersecurity, system reliability, and compliance standards. Additionally, the role plays a key part in enabling digital transformation initiatives, supporting decision-making through accurate data insights, and ensuring that technology investments deliver measurable value to the overall supply chain performance
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure supporting manufacturing and office operations
- Provide hands-on IT support to office, engineering, and shop-floor users
- Administer Microsoft 365, email, file-sharing, and collaboration platforms
- Ensure high availability and resilience of networks across manufacturing locations
- Implement cybersecurity controls appropriate to a production environment
- Support ERP, production, engineering and financial systems
- Maintain IT documentation, asset registers, and licences
- Support system upgrades and technology deployments with minimal production disruption
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT. Computer Science or a related discipline
- 5+ years in a leadership role in ICT
- Strong knowledge of state of the Art Software inclusive of AI
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic server administration, and networking
- Experience supporting IT systems in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and cloud services
- Understanding of LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and industrial Wi-Fi
- Practical knowledge of cybersecurity and backup strategies
- Significant experience of managing ICT within a manufacturing environment
- Day to day working knowledge of advanced ERP systems
