**Hybrid Dispatcher Job Description**
- Compensation: \$50,000 - \$70,000 annually DOE Job type:** Full-time,
year round
**Duties:**
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate routes based on
business needs, traffic patterns, and driver availability.
- Monitor driver locations and delivery progress using GPS and
dispatch software.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
to resolve issues and provide updates.
- Update sheets with accurate records of dispatch activities, delivery
times, and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety
standards.
- Respond to emergency calls and adjust schedules as needed to
accommodate delays or breakdowns.
- Drive assigned routes to deliver agricultural products when needed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle.
- Communicate with dispatchers to coordinate delivery of agricultural
products.
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or logistics
certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a dispatcher in the trucking or logistics
industry.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and geographic
routing.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced
environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
**Skills**
- 2 years of experience as driver and/or dispatcher
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Capable of working independently and following instructions
precisely.
- Capable of giving precise instructions and maintaining verbal and
written communications with drivers.
- Able to operate our ELD system (samsara)
