About the RoleDispatchers coordinate shuttle van drivers who transport airline crew members between Harry Reid International Airport and designated hotels. You will also serve as the
primary point of contact for scheduling and communicating airport escort services, ensuring all escort requests are handled promptly and accurately.
This position is essential to keeping airline operations running smoothly and safely.
What You'll Do - Dispatch drivers to assigned locations throughout the shift
- Communicate with drivers using a Push-To-Talk Application
- Answer incoming calls and maintain professional communication with airline staff and contractors
- Serve as the main contact for airport escort scheduling and communication
- Use MS Outlook to send and receive emails
- Maintain accurate electronic records, including end-of-shift reports
- Provide support to management as needed
- Represent Huntleigh USA with a friendly, positive, and professional attitude
What We're Looking For - Knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook
- Strong customer service and phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability - this is a 24/7 operation (days, nights, weekends, holidays; overtime may occur without notice)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have reliable transportation, a working cell phone, and an active email account
- Must maintain professional appearance and hygiene
- Knowledge of the Las Vegas metropolitan area is helpful but not required
Requirements - Must pass a 20-year FBI background check and meet airport badging requirements (no felonies)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and ongoing random testing
- DOT does not allow the use of THC
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid work permit
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods and remain alert throughout the shift
