Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of advanced hardware systems used in high-performance computing environments. This role is hands-on and lab-focused, with an emphasis on designing reliable, manufacturable mechanical solutions for demanding operating conditions.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies from concept through prototype
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD tools
- Support hands-on builds, testing, and iterative improvements in a lab environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Lead or participate in design reviews
- Select materials and design for durability in controlled, high-density hardware environments
- Optimize designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience focused on product development
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks or equivalent)
- Experience with sheet metal, chassis design, and injection-molded components
- Familiarity with electromechanical and serviceable hardware assemblies
- Exposure to FEA and design-for-manufacturing principles
- Ability to take ownership in a fast-moving engineering environment
