Position Description
You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Fleet Readiness Center Mid Atlantic, Fleet Support Team Headquarters Logistics Group, Fleet Support Team Maintenance Department of PATUXENT RIVER, MD.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will review and understand the rationale for the support strategies, decisions and annotations made in the LPD database to indicate whether the maintenance plan rationale is sound and supported by supportability analysis processes.
- You will participate in studies, assess impacts to product supportability, develop requirements, processes and tools in support of maintenance planning.
- You will communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and be able to make technical presentations to all levels of government and industry.
- You will utilize methods and techniques utilized in the interpretation and application of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program policies, standards and key concepts of Product Support Analysis and relationship with Logistics Product Data (LPD).
