About The Role
We are looking for a
Project Coordinator to assist with the administrative and coordination aspects of construction projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and helping to facilitate communication across teams. This role plays a critical role in improving project workflows, communication, and accountability by implementing structured control systems and supporting project controls initiatives. This full-time, on-site position reports directly to the Director of Project Management at our main office in The Woodlands, Texas.
Responsibilities And Essential Job Functions
- Establish and maintain a centralized document control system for all active projects using tools such as Monday.com and integrated storage platforms
- Identify gaps in current project workflows (handoffs, communication, document tracking) and implement process improvements
- Assist with change management processes, ensuring all supporting documentation is accurate and properly tracked
- Review project schedules for accuracy, verify field team updates, and incorporate construction metrics
- Support invoicing validation by verifying documentation, approvals, and compliance with contract requirements
- Enter work orders and material orders for capital projects into the internal system
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure accurate invoices and follow protocols for approval
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Proficiency in the use of a computer, and software applications including Microsoft Excel, Office, and project management software
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of organization and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify gaps and implement process improvements
- Self-motivated with the ability to quickly grasp new ideas and tasks
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Science, Engineering, or an equivalent amount of relevant work experience
- Experience using Monday.com
