The Associate Design Project Manager plays a critical role in enabling the operational success of the design organization.
This role partners closely with design leadership, strategists, communications, marketing teams, and external partners to manage project workflows, coordinate cross-functional collaboration, and ensure design initiatives are delivered efficiently and effectively. Operating at the intersection of creativity and execution, this role ensures that projects move seamlessly from concept through delivery while maintaining visibility into timelines, budgets, and operational priorities across the global design ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Project & Workflow Management
- Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent design initiatives.
- Partner with Design Leads to ensure projects are appropriately scoped, resourced, and delivered on time.
- Maintain project tracking, documentation, and workflow visibility through tools such as Monday.com or similar platforms.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and timeline impacts to ensure proactive project management. Budget & Operational Management
- Manage project budgets, vendor purchase orders, and contractual documentation (MSA, NDA, SOW, WFH) in coordination with Finance and external partners.
- Track and reconcile project expenses and provide budget visibility to design leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency across design workflows and the content supply chain. Creative Operations & Enablement
- Support internal creative communications by helping capture and share project updates, case studies, and design impact stories.
- Coordinate global design award submissions, internal recognition initiatives, and design-related communications.
- Maintain the design asset library to ensure teams have reliable access to brand, packaging, and campaign assets. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as an operational partner connecting Design, Marketing, Communications, and external agencies to ensure alignment across initiatives.
- Collaborate with Global Design Operations on reporting, project dashboards, and ROI metrics.
- Support the management of internal and external platforms that showcase design work and impact.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,700 - $135,100.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design Management, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of experience in creative project management, design operations, or marketing operations.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with creative workflows, asset management systems, and project tracking platforms.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong interest in design and innovation.

- Teams experience streamlined workflows and strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Design work is effectively documented, shared, and recognized through storytelling and awards.
