We are seeking a Freelance Creative Project Manager to support a leading convenience store brand in delivering high-impact marketing and creative initiatives. This role will oversee the execution of integrated campaigns across signage, social media, and digital marketing, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on brand, and within scope.
This is a hybrid position based in Atlanta, GA (3 days onsite), ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented project manager with experience working in fast-paced, consumer-facing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of creative and marketing projects across in-store signage, social media, and digital channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, marketing, merchandising, and external agencies
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource plans
- Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints, especially retail and in-store environments
- Oversee production and rollout of signage and promotional materials across multiple store locations
- Coordinate social media and digital campaign execution, including content calendars and asset delivery
- Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders
- Lead status meetings, track deliverables, and ensure alignment across teams
- Manage feedback loops and approvals to keep projects moving efficiently
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management within a creative, marketing, or agency environment
- Strong experience managing retail signage, in-store marketing, or physical brand environments
- Hands-on experience with social media campaigns and digital marketing initiatives
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Jira, or similar)
- Experience working with or supporting retail, QSR, or convenience store brands is a strong plus
