Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up tools and equipment
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and cleaning work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment
- Be able or willing to learn the many facets that construction offers.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure worksite for yourself and others
- Help with site cleanup, debris removal, and material storage to keep the project progressing smoothly
- Participate in routine inspections and report any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
- Contribute to team efforts by staying flexible and ready to take on various tasks as needed
Skills
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Good communication skills to understand instructions clearly and work effectively with team members
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures; prior experience is required.
- Ability to follow directions carefully while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance record with a positive attitude towards teamwork and safety standards
- Construction Experince.
Perferred Skills
- Previous experince with framing and/or roofing.
- Experince with commerical construction.
- Previous experince with finishing concrete.
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Experience:
- Frame carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Construction: 3 years (Required)
- Concrete finishing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Roofing: 2 years (Preferred)
