Job Posting Overview
We are seeking an experienced Process Project Manager to join our customers Integrated Project Management Team at their industrial site. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in oil refinery or similar heavy industrial process environments who understand complex unit operations and capital project development.
The Process Project Manager will play a key role in front-end engineering, scope definition, and capital project planning, partnering closely with unit leaders to align technical solutions with site and CAPEX strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Process Project Manager for large-scale capital projects within a refinery or similar process manufacturing environment
- Lead and support Front-End Engineering (FEL/FEED) activities for assigned projects
- Collaborate with unit leaders, operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to define project scope and technical requirements
- Develop clear, well-defined project scopes that support capital investment and CAPEX strategy
- Ensure process designs align with operational needs, safety standards, and long-term site objectives
- Participate as a core member of the Integrated Project Management Team, supporting multiple concurrent project profiles as needed
- Provide process expertise throughout project development to support cost, schedule, and risk optimization
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in oil refining or similar large-scale process manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of process engineering and unit operations
- Proven experience supporting or leading capital projects
- Hands-on experience with front-end engineering, scope development, and project definition
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and leadership teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working at a large industrial or refinery site
- Background in integrated project management teams
- Familiarity with capital governance processes and investment decision frameworks
Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
