Step away from hands-on project work and into a leadership-focused position where your main job is coaching and developing your team.

You’ll lead and grow a team of nine Project Managers working on commercial and industrial solar projects across the West Coast. This is your chance to have a real impact on how projects are delivered while working closely with senior leadership and shaping the future of the team.

With hybrid working, you’ll have the flexibility to work remotely while traveling about 25% of the time to project sites and client meetings. This setup gives you more control over your schedule and keeps you connected to the work on the ground.

You’ll get exposure to advanced project management strategies and have the opportunity to influence best practices across the business. Plus, working with a global utility company means you’ll be part of a team that’s driving the transition to clean energy.

What you’ll do

Manage and mentor your team, providing support and guidance to help them grow. You’ll take ownership of project delivery, ensuring that each project meets its goals and delivers value to the customer.

Collaborate with development teams to refine scopes of work, create realistic schedules, and drive profitability through value engineering. You’ll also play a key role in improving systems and processes to make project delivery more efficient.

On top of that, you’ll handle resource allocation, track performance against targets, and step in to manage high-priority projects when needed.

What you’ll need

10–15 years of project management experience, with a track record of leading teams.
Experience in commercial or industrial solar PV projects, as this will be the focus of your work.
Strong leadership and communication skills, as you’ll be working closely with people across different teams and regions.
