Duties
- Assist with water damage restoration by removing standing water, setting up drying equipment, and cleaning affected areas
- Support fire restoration projects through debris removal, surface cleaning, and odor control measures
- Perform mold remediation tasks including containment setup, mold removal, and surface cleaning following safety protocols
- Use hand tools and power tools to dismantle damaged structures and prepare sites for repairs
- Conduct thorough cleaning of properties using carpet cleaning equipment and other sanitation tools
- Support asbestos abatement procedures by following safety guidelines and assisting with material removal when trained
- Help with general construction activities such as framing, drywall installation, and flooring repairs as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or construction is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail when performing cleaning tasks or handling hazardous materials like mold or asbestos
- Willingness to work in various environments including water-damaged or fire-damaged sites
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor tasks
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, carpet cleaning equipment, or mold remediation is advantageous but not mandatory
- Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment
