Warehouse & Inventory Manager – 3PL/Manufacturing/Hands On
I’m supporting a global manufacturing business as they continue to grow and enhance their US operations. They are looking for an experienced Warehouse & Inventory professional who can take ownership of day to day distribution activities while driving improvements across warehousing, inventory, shipping, receiving, and fulfilment. This role is hands on and operational, requiring someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and has a strong track record of optimising warehouse performance, leading teams, and improving inventory accuracy. You’ll oversee the main distribution center in Smyrna, as well as 3PL partners and consignment locations, ensuring outstanding service levels and efficient movement of goods across the network. The business only has a small US footprint (c20 reports for this role) and so you must be comfortable working in a scaling business ($10-40m turnover).
Reporting to the VP of Operations, you’ll lead warehouse leadership and staff, instilling a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate inventory records, strong process discipline, and reliable fulfilment performance. With a growing US business and an expanding distribution footprint, you’ll play a key role in developing people, processes, and systems to support scale. You’ll also drive the adoption of best practice warehouse management processes, including 6S, cycle counting, and KPI driven performance improvement.You’ll ideally have experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, or Engineering environments and be comfortable working in an operational setting where precision, safety, and reliability are critical.
The role requires full time onsite presence in Smyrna, with occasional travel as needed. The role is pay $80,000 plus strong benefits.
