Join our dynamic construction team as a Skilled Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! The main role is to assist a General Contractor with various tasks on multiple different jobs to ensure smooth workflow for subcontractors. In this energetic role, you will actively participate in building projects by performing a variety of skilled tasks that ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on-site. Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris, delivering supplies, and organizing materials
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to support various construction activities
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisor to perform tasks such as framing, drywall, installation of sheet metal, wood and metal trim work, window installation, welding etc..
- Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during daily operations to protect yourself and team members
- Support the installation of structural components, fixtures, and other building elements with precision
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a construction laborer or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, or instructions for various tasks
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and task completion
- Valid driver’s license is a plus; reliable transportation is preferred for site access
- Certifications such as OSHA safety training are advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
- Self motivated and has the ability to complete tasks without daily direct supervision.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
