Responsibilities

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, blueprints, schematics, and contract specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately for seamless project execution.
Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and subcontractor bidding using HeavyBid or comparable tools.
Monitor project progress through regular site visits, progress reports, and schedule updates; address any delays or issues proactively.
Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and team members to ensure alignment on project goals.
Review contracts and change orders diligently; ensure all contractual obligations are met while controlling costs.
Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and reporting.
Ensure quality control through rigorous inspections and adherence to safety standards; implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in civil (site utilities and/or earthwork) construction management with a strong background in heavy civil projects or infrastructure development.
Hands-on experience with construction estimating processes and software like HeavyBid or similar platforms.
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Strong knowledge of contracts management and construction law principles.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and regulations; previous site experience is essential.
Skilled in using construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, , and other relevant tools for project coordination.
Effective communicator capable of leading teams, negotiating with stakeholders, and resolving conflicts efficiently.
