A global mid-market infrastructure investor with ~$8bn AUM is seeking to appoint a Senior Principal / Head of Investments to help lead its newly established New York office.
With a strong track record across Europe and other global markets, the firm has recently expanded into North America and has already completed several investments across energy transition and digital infrastructure. The team is now looking to build out its senior leadership bench as it scales its presence and prepares to raise a dedicated North American fund.
The Opportunity
This is a highly strategic, front-office leadership role with responsibility across the full investment lifecycle. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the firm’s North American strategy while driving deal origination and execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading origination efforts across core++ infrastructure opportunities
- Defining and executing investment strategy across priority sectors
- Driving transaction execution from sourcing through to close
- Supporting portfolio value creation alongside management teams
- Playing an active role in fundraising efforts, particularly for the upcoming North American vehicle

Candidate Profile
- 12+ years of experience across infrastructure investing, private equity, or related fields
- Strong track record of leading transactions in core/core+ or core++ infrastructure
- Deep North American market knowledge with established relationships
- Experience across both origination and execution
- Exposure to fundraising or LP interaction is highly desirable
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a growing platform
