We are hiring a Production Assistant to join a top entertainment company in NYC. This freelance role will be running for 12 months with potential to extend and will be onsite Monday – Thursday, remote Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Assist producers and associate producers with pre-production, on-set, and post-production tasks
- Research storylines, sports trends, and cultural insights to inform creative development
- Help source footage, music, talent, and production assets
- Coordinate logistics including shoot schedules, travel, and equipment
- Log footage, maintain organized project files, and assist with rights and clearances
- Support social and digital content distribution
- Manage day-to-day administrative needs for the production team
- Actively participate in brainstorms and contribute ideas
- Seek mentorship and skill development opportunities across the creative team
Required Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in production, marketing, or related field
- Demonstrated passion for sports and storytelling
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
- Familiarity with production tools and workflows is a plus
