Position Overview
American Bath Group is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to lead execution for key customer accounts and ensure seamless coordination across our manufacturing operations.
This role serves as the central point of ownership from order entry through delivery and after-sales support, driving alignment between sales, production, logistics, and customer stakeholders. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects stay on track, customer expectations are met, and operational performance is optimized.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Account Ownership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts including contractors, builders, wholesalers, and rep agencies
- Oversee projects from order entry through production, delivery, and after-sales support
- Manage customer expectations, address concerns, and ensure a high level of service
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Drive alignment across Sales, Manufacturing, Accounting, and Logistics
- Communicate proactively with all plants and departments to ensure execution stays on track
- Lead escalation efforts for production delays, scheduling conflicts, or shipping issues
Project Execution & Tracking
- Build and manage project plans, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met
- Track production timelines, material availability, and order status
- Maintain and update project tracking tools (Smartsheet or similar)
- Provide regular status updates and reporting to leadership
Order & Production Management
- Enter, review, and proof orders to ensure accuracy and alignment with specifications
- Ensure products meet customer requirements and agreed-upon lead times
- Monitor commitments (e.g., 10-day lead times) and proactively address risks
Problem Solving & Continuous Follow-Up
- Identify risks early and take action to keep projects on schedule
- Coordinate across departments to resolve issues impacting production or delivery
- Facilitate escalation calls and collaborate on solutions to improve timelines
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships to support repeat business
- Serve as the single point of contact for strategic accounts (e.g., Welltower, IMI)
- Support contractor onboarding and assist with billing or account-related issues
QualificationsRequired
- 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, or manufacturing coordination
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across departments
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience working with ERP systems, order management, or project tracking tools (Smartsheet preferred)
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or building materials industry
- Familiarity with production scheduling and supply chain processes
- Experience managing key accounts or customer-facing projects
