VP, Technology & Innovation
$195K–$225K base + benefits
A mission-driven national organization is seeking a VP of Technology & Innovation to lead enterprise technology strategy, modernize core systems, and drive digital transformation across the organization.
This is a highly visible leadership role reporting to the COO, overseeing a multi-functional team and shaping the future of technology, data, and member experience.
What You’ll Do
- Define and execute a technology and innovation roadmap aligned with organizational goals, with a significant emphasis on AI tools and methods
- Lead modernization of core systems, data platforms, and digital/member-facing tools
- Oversee IT operations, helpdesk, and enterprise applications
- Drive improvements across data, reporting, and member engagement platforms
- Partner closely with executive leadership to align technology with business strategy
- Evaluate and implement new tools, platforms, and innovative solutions
- Lead and mentor a team of ~40, including senior leadership
What You Bring
- 15+ years of experience in IT leadership, digital transformation, and enterprise technology
- Experience in non-profit, association, healthcare, or regulated environments (or consulting in these sectors)
- Proven success modernizing systems, infrastructure, or data environments
- Strong leadership experience managing large, cross-functional teams
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution
- Experience working with membership platforms / enterprise systems is a plus

- Comfortable stepping into environments undergoing change or modernization
- Strong communicator who can partner effectively with executive stakeholders
- Experience supporting member-driven or mission-focused organizations is highly valued
