Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the financial and contractual performance of assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role owns the project budget, cost forecasting, client financial communication, and coordination with Superintendents to ensure projects are delivered on budget and in alignment with client expectations.
Project Managers typically oversee the budgets for 3–5 active projects and serve as the primary point of contact for cost-related decisions, change management, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and define project scope for each assigned project
- Develop detailed project budgets and cost estimates
- Prepare and maintain project schedules in coordination with Superintendents
- Review bids and assist with trade partner selection
- Issue purchase orders and manage contract commitments
- Manage permits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead project kickoff meetings and oversee project closeout
- Conduct regular client, designer, and architect meetings (in office and on site)
- Provide weekly client budget updates and financial reporting
- Review and complete project draws and billing documentation
- Communicate budget status, variances, and forecasts to clients
- Maintain clear documentation and internal reporting on all assigned projects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
License/Certification:
