Construction Worker/Carpenter
Sherd Construction and Associates LLC, seeks to fill 2 Full Time positions to perform construction related work. This may include all or some of the following tasks, framing, siding, decks, additions, pole buildings, windows and doors, new construction, remodeling etc.
No experience is necessary but preferred. Certain candidates with no experience will receive site training but if applicants have experience in the residential construction field, this will effect their value and reflecting pay scale. The right candidate will have knowledge in rough framing, be able to decipher simple math equations, read blueprints and have the ability to problem solve in a team environment. Having the ability to work in a team environment, be professional and have adequate transportation to and from work is a must! Our job sites are located mainly from Grand Haven and south to South Haven along the lake Michigan shore line. Due to frequently changing job sites, transportation is an absolute must!

Our moto is we aren't finished until the customer is happy. We intend on continuing and upholding this level or work and need to extend our employee bullpen to do so.
Requirements:
*Must be comfortable using power tools, heights, ladders, lifts, platforms and scaffolding.
*2 years of residential construction experience is a plus but will provide onsite training for those willing and able to learn.
*Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
*Must work well under pressure and in a team environment.
*Daily dependable transportation is an absolute must as job sites change often.
*Must provide your own basic hand tools, belt, pouches, tape measure, chalk line etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
