Senior Mechanical Designer – Energy Projects
Join a dynamic team delivering modular energy equipment. You’ll develop 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models from P&IDs and project specifications
- Produce precise 2D fabrication drawings, maintaining dimensional accuracy
- Collaborate with engineers, fabrication teams, and vendors to resolve design issues
- Monitor project schedules and report design progress
- Manage design changes and potential conflicts to keep projects on track
- Support the development and improvement of design standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree, diploma, or technical certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, CAD Technology, or related field
- 2+ years designing modular or skid-mounted industrial equipment
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, CADWorx, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of piping and structural design; familiarity with ANSI/ASME standards
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience in energy, power generation, or oil & gas
- Familiarity with compression packages, pressure systems, or modular assemblies
