Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Freight Forwarder at our Wilmington, DE location. Responsibilities include coordinating the shipment of goods via various transportation modes, ensuring timely delivery, and managing the export processes. The Freight Forwarder will maintain strong communication with customers, carriers, and internal teams to provide exceptional service and resolve any issues. Effective management of freight forwarding operations and compliance with relevant regulations are key to this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation operations
- Experience in Export processes and understanding of international shipping requirements
- Strong Customer Service skills to address client needs and provide tailored logistics solutions
- Knowledge of forwarding operations and ability to manage end-to-end logistics processes
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate with team members effectively
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus
