Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work progresses according to plan and safety standards are maintained
Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as material handling, site preparation, and installation work
Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely and effectively
Maintain a clean, organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Follow detailed instructions from project managers or supervisors to complete assigned tasks accurately
Support team members by providing guidance, encouragement, and troubleshooting on-site issues
Conduct routine safety checks and report any hazards or incidents immediately

Requirements

Proven experience in construction work or laboring roles with a strong understanding of building processes
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or work instructions is a plus
Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and reliable work ethic
Knowledge of safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to follow directions carefully while maintaining attention to detail
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
