TalentLogistiX is hiring an experienced Assistant Construction Project Manager to support a multi-million-dollar construction company. The ACPM will assist the Project Manager in overseeing construction projects from initiation through completion.
The Assistant Construction Project Manager (ACPM) will support the Project Manager in overseeing construction projects from initiation through completion. This role involves assisting with project planning, coordination of field operations, procurement, scheduling, and communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
The ACPM ensures projects remain on schedule, within budget, and compliant with safety and quality standards, while gaining hands-on experience in commercial construction project management.

Assistant Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, initiating, and managing construction projects to meet design, budget, schedule, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to support project plans, specifications, and documentation.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, report issues, and assist with safety and quality compliance.
- Support preparation and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Assist in procurement of materials and services, including vendor communication and tracking deliveries.
- Support the Project Manager in leading project teams, providing guidance to subcontractors and on-site personnel.
- Identify potential project risks and assist in implementing solutions.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
- Promote a collaborative, safe, and productive work environment.
Assistant Construction Project Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 2–4 years of experience in commercial construction or related project support roles.
- Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and project management principles.
- Proficiency with project management tools: Procore, CMIC, Bluebeam, ASTA, or Excel.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 50% preferred).
