We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team!
The Project Manager is a leader of the project team and responsible for the success of the project. The Project Manager is chiefly responsible for the finances of the project, cost and change management, schedule management, procurement, and closeout.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as the Project Manager in charge of commercial construction projects.
- Ground-up construction experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with and lead teams effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in managing construction operations with a focus on quality control and safety compliance.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including scheduling, quality control, cost control, plan and spec reading, and documentation.
- Familiarity with construction management and scheduling software.
- Experience with construction projects of similar type to Brookstone’s portfolio is preferred.
- Geographically located in the Greater Houston area.
Duties:
- Understand and ensure compliance with the Owner contract.
- Prepare and maintain master project schedules in coordination with the Project Superintendent.
- Monitor and maintain subcontractor performance. Enforce subcontract obligations and schedule commitments. Communicate frequently and effectively with the subcontractors.
- Manage, review, and process submittals and shop drawings.
- Participate in buyout and issuance of subcontracts.
- Manage project costs with a focus on profitability. Prepare cost projections.
- Lead and document meetings.
- Prepare and submit pay applications.
- Enforce safety policies and promote a safe work culture.
- Manage the change process. Price changes, submit for approval, create Owner and Subcontractor change orders.
- Perform quality control and maintain quality standards.
- Participate in management and resolution of warranty items.
- Delegate to and mentor support staff.
- Develop and manage client relationships.
- Participate in preconstruction activities for upcoming projects.
- Practice risk management for your projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
