This is a high-impact internship starting in January 2026, designed for aspiring data professionals who want to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world business intelligence. You will play a pivotal role in supporting stakeholders across life insurance, retirement planning, and investment sectors by building the dashboards that drive executive decision-making.
The Role
• Develop, maintain, and automate interactive reports and executive dashboards using Power BI and Cognos.
• Process and analyze massive datasets to identify trends and provide actionable solutions for internal business stakeholders.
• Collaborate directly with Data Engineering and IT Administration teams to ensure seamless data pipeline integration.
• Troubleshoot complex data issues and contribute to the formal documentation of BI processes and procedures.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data specifications.
What You'll Need
• Currently enrolled in a degree program (Computer Science, Data Science, or Data Analytics) with a desire for a long-term internship commitment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a solid foundation in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Academic or project experience in Data Management, Databases, and AI/Machine Learning concepts.
• Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
• A self-directed, curious mindset with the initiative to learn new BI technologies and meet tight business deadlines.
