Southern Glazer's offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 a year plus bonus potential. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately
Overview
The Director of Advanced Technology Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic implementation of cutting-edge technology systems and infrastructure. This role involves managing complex technology environments to ensure their security, reliability, scalability, and efficiency. The Director will lead a team of technology professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technological advancements and align them with business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and optimization of technology systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for technology operations.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of technology environments.
- Lead and mentor a team of technology professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business goals.
- Manage the budget and resources for technology operations.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Establish and enforce technology policies and procedures.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for technology solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Prepare and present reports on technology operations to senior management.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the technology team.
- Facilitate training and development programs for technology staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in technology operations or a similar role.
- Proven track record of managing complex technology environments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
