About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Transportation Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize our domestic freight operations. This is a high-impact role responsible for executing 200+ monthly shipments, managing drop-trailer programs, auditing freight spend, and identifying opportunities to reduce transportation costs through smarter planning and negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute inbound, outbound, and direct-to-Amazon shipments using a Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Manage LTL and FTL freight, including shipment consolidation and cost optimization
- Own and coordinate drop-trailer / drop-and-hook programs
- Audit freight invoices and dispute incorrect accessorial charges
- Track key transportation metrics such as cost per load, on-time delivery, and trailer utilization
- Collaborate with warehouse leadership to maximize pallet density and maintain efficient dock flow
Qualifications
- 3+ years of transportation or logistics operations experience
- Proven experience managing LTL/FTL freight and drop-trailer programs
- Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Experience with TMS systems; Amazon FBA logistics experience is a plus
