Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex projects across various departments. Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of projects using diverse methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope management, schedule creation using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project objectives, business needs, and technical specifications through effective requirements analysis and business process modeling.
- Manage project budgets, perform cost control activities, and utilize earned value management techniques to track financial performance.
- Conduct risk assessments, root cause analysis, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Oversee program development initiatives by coordinating multiple projects within a portfolio using PPM tools such as Clarizen or VersionOne.
- Lead cross-functional teams through project lifecycle phases while managing conflicts with negotiation skills and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Utilize project management software like Jira, Smartsheet, or Confluence for task tracking, documentation, and communication facilitation.
- Implement continuous improvement practices such as Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Kaizen principles to enhance processes and increase efficiency.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders at all levels to communicate progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment on project goals.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts ensuring compliance with organizational standards while overseeing IT infrastructure projects or product development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising teams in a dynamic environment with strong team management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies including PMBOK standards, Scrum (SAFe), Kanban, and Lean principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in program management tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Workday or SharePoint for scheduling and resource planning.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques to support decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication skills capable of presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, business process modeling, and requirements management tools like Visio or Salesforce.
- Ability to lead change management initiatives effectively while managing scope changes using scope management techniques.
- Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt are highly desirable.
