Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Logistics Coordinator based in the Greater Chicago Area. The Logistics Coordinator will manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling shipments, coordinating with clients, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, supporting supply chain processes, and resolving customer inquiries efficiently. The role requires strong coordination skills to enhance the effectiveness of freight operations and ensure smooth communication between team members and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills for liaising with clients and addressing inquiries
- Analytical Skills to address logistical challenges and optimize delivery routes
- Experience in Inventory Management and Supply Chain Management to support operational efficiency
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with logistics and transportation management software is a plus
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
Qualifications
- Ability to work five (5) days per week in an on-site office environment in the Schaumburg area
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written) required to support communication with clients and partners
- Valid U.S. driver’s license (required)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in logistics, freight operations, transportation coordination, or supply chain management is preferred
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced logistics environment and handle multiple priorities
Starting salary $48000 per year with potential raise based on performance
