Position Overview
R2Build is seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Superintendent / Project Manager to oversee the EMWD HQ Security and Access Control, OMC Fuel Station Upgrade Project.
The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering background, strong experience in commercial construction, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The candidate must also be experienced with Procore project management software and construction documentation processes including RFIs, change orders, submittals, and schedule updates.
Responsibilities
- Follow the Project Manager's directives for daily production schedules and project activities.
- Manage construction operations from project initiation to completion.
- Read and interpret engineering plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and material requirements.
- Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
- Use Procore to manage project documentation and communication.
- Prepare and track RFIs (Requests for Information).
- Create and manage submittals and shop drawing reviews.
- Process and track change orders and project modifications.
- Maintain daily reports, schedule updates, and project logs in Procore.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and enforce jobsite safety standards.
- Control labor, material, and equipment costs to keep projects within budget.
- Identify and resolve project issues quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field (preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
- Strong ability to read construction plans, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- Experience with Procore construction management software.
- Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Ability to maintain project schedules and perform data entry for construction reports.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and building codes.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $9,000.00 - $11,500.00 per month
