Role Description
We are seeking a District Operations Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Atlanta, GA. This role involves consulting with franchisees, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and maintaining Bruster's high standards for product quality, customer experience, and operational efficiency. The overall responsibility of a District Manager is conduct onsite visits with franchisee owners, to engage and collaborate with franchisee owners to foster successful businesses while maintaining Brand Standards and executing Brand Programs and initiatives, and support new store openings.
Essential Job Functions of the District Manager
- Ensure the Bruster’s brand is upheld in all stores in region.
- Ensure corporate initiatives designed to protect the brand image are being implemented in all stores, including but not limited to: People, product, process, profitability.
- Marketing programs implementation.
- Conduct store visits completing the Brand Standards Form.
- If stores are not upholding Bruster’s brand image, conduct any necessary follow-up Brand Standard Forms.
- Recap store visits in a timely fashion for corporate review & franchisee follow up.
- Attend Regional Meetings as needed.
- Handle situations/problems that arise in your district to completion or report to VP as needed.
- Organize and execute new store openings. Candidate should expect 1-2 new store openings per month minimum which require 4-5 overnights or as needed.
Complete assigned administrative tasks as directed in a timely manner.
The District Operations Manager will lead, support, and develop store teams, drive sales growth, implement operational strategies, and ensure compliance with brand standards.
Qualifications
- Leadership and team management skills with experience in team building and employee development.
- Operational knowledge including inventory management, cost control, scheduling, and performance review.
- Customer service and relationship-building ability to enhance guest experience and manage customer-related matters effectively.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor store performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead diverse teams and collaborate with team members and franchise owners.
- Experience in the food service or retail industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations.
