Senior Director of IT - Hialeah, FL
Reports to: Chief Information Officer
Overview:
A major regional grocery store chain is seeking a dynamic Senior Director of IT to lead and transform its enterprise technology operations. This executive-level role will oversee multiple IT departments, spanning Infrastructure, Corporate Solutions, and Workforce Management/HR. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail or large-scale enterprise environments, be bilingual in English and Spanish, and possess the ability to drive strategy, innovation, and operational excellence across a complex technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise infrastructure, including Store Portal, O365/Email, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Intune.
- Oversee disaster recovery planning, capacity planning, and third-party SOC/NOC operations to ensure business continuity.
- Direct SEIM systems for auditing and compliance purposes.
- Manage Identity and Access Management initiatives, including SSO and MFA, ensuring secure and scalable access across the enterprise.
Corporate Solutions:
- Drive strategy and oversight for systems supporting promotion planning, cost and deal management, and vendor portal operations.
- Oversee AS400 applications, space planning, marketing systems, and advertising production/distribution.
- Lead eCommerce, web/mobile platforms, loyalty programs, and other customer-facing technology initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of technology solutions with business objectives and customer experience goals.
Workforce Management / HR:
- Oversee payroll, labor scheduling, and time and attendance systems, including FMS, Logile, and related tools.
- Act as IT product owner for HR and finance systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Lead finance technology operations, including AP/AR/GL, treasury management, gross profit accounting, Onpay, and Worldpay.
- Foster collaboration across IT, HR, and Finance to streamline processes and drive organizational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of IT leadership experience in retail or enterprise organizations, with a demonstrated ability to manage large, multi-functional teams.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills to lead diverse teams and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
- Proven experience implementing and scaling enterprise technology systems that support operational efficiency, business growth, and customer experience.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives and deliver measurable results.
- Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure, corporate solutions, and workforce management/HR systems in complex, multi-department environments.
