We are looking for an experienced Inventory and Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize warehouse operations in Lancaster, Texas. This is a long-term contract position that requires someone with strong attention to detail and a solid background in supply chain management and logistics. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient material flow, accurate inventory management, and seamless shipping and receiving processes.
Responsibilities:
• Process incoming shipments by verifying purchase orders, inter-company transfers, and vendor deliveries.
• Prepare and pack outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and on-time delivery through selected carriers.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in inbound or outbound materials, addressing inventory mismatches and order issues.
• Perform regular inventory cycle counts to maintain accuracy and investigate variances in stock records.
• Organize and stage materials to fulfill kit requests and ensure timely delivery.
• Support truck loading and unloading operations to optimize material handling.
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to implement improvements in tools, technologies, and processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Prior forklift experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
• Minimum of two years of experience in supply chain or logistics management.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and enterprise resource planning software.
• Experience in cycle counting and supporting material flow in production environments.
